Weaving Feeds Families!
The sale of one shawl can feed a family of five for a month.

Each shawl is hand-made and sold with a picture of the weaver and her story.

Wool rebozos/shawls sell for $150.

The cotton ones sell for $125.

Because each of the weavings is a unique and special piece, there is some slight variation in the size. Cotton are approximately 26" x 70" - generous as shawls or non itchy throws. Wool comes in two sizes, approximately 55" x 52" and 26" x 80". They make wonderful throws for cool winter nights and are perfect for wrapping up outside or in front of the fire.

Each weaving is sold with a picture of the weaver and her story.

The price for the shawls is calculated by the following method:

1. Cost of materials
2. Wages of $5.00 per day to weavers (Minimum wage in Mexico)
3. Handling $18.50 (shipping, cleaning and packaging).
4. 20% to the weaving

cooperative for development.
